HT LIGHT & SOUND TERMS OF HIRE

1. The hirer must produce two forms of identification before commencing this agreement. The hirer is liable for any loss that HT L&S may suffer as a result of cancellation.
2. The hire fee and a security deposit of £100.00 are required on collection or delivery of all equipment hired.
3. The equipment hired with or without an operator/engineer from HT L&S is the sole responsibility for any damage or loss of that equipment.
4. Damage or loss of any equipment shall be chargeable to the hirer for the current cost of repair or replacement of that equipment.
5. Equipment must be returned in the same condition I.E. plugs, leads, stylus ect should not be removed or these items will be charged for.
6. All equipment should be operated by a competent person – failure to do so may result in damage to the equipment which the hirer is liable for.
7. HT L&S cannot accept responsibility for damage that may be incurred to the property or injury to persons whilst the equipment is in the hirer’s possession.
8. Equipment on hire is for the use by the hirer only and cannot be used by other persons.
9. If any items are unavailable at the time of hire HT L&S have the right to make a substitute at there discretion, but every effort will be made to make this unnecessary.
10. If you require HT L&S to arrange the installation or delivery of the equipment this must be arranged at the time of request of equipment. The charge for this will be itemised on your bill.
11. The dates of collection and return of equipment are binding to midday of the dates agreed.
12. Equipment hired must be returned before midday on the agreed return date!! Failure to do so may result in an extra day’s hire charge
